Little Brothers by Rick Hautala/p,15-25/1-31-08

When I saw this book I new it was going to be good.It starts off with a twelve year old boy named Kip Howard talking to his doctor.This doctor has no clue what this boy went threw when he saw his mother die when he was seven.Kip tried to tell her that the things or creatures that killed her mom were responsible and the moved so quik that he couldn't remember what they looked like.The creatures that he talked about seem to move like monkies but they were like little gremilens that have talons like a hawk.There were so meny in the darkness that it seemed that the cellar looked as if it was full of water moving around.This kid must be trometized because I would.Dr Fielding said if Kip should ever get over his fear,he needs to go back to that land and face what ever it is.

As the romm started to droop and sag as it was melting Mike got his lucky cigarette out and lit it up.The last time he smoked was nine years ago.When Mike lit up his cigarette he smelled sulfur.Mike took the box of maches and lit his shirt on fire to pull him self out of the dream that he thought he was in.Well he wasn't and setting himself on fire might have been a stupid thing but it saved his life.Mikes life from on was horrible and he got used to it but he still has rilly bad dreams.That room screwed Mike up in so meny ways that it's not normal.

It was just aroom Mike said.This room is not only a room it's a thing that attacks you in every way thats possible.This is an evil room and it's taking Mike on a ride of his life and it's going to suck.Mike wonders around the room,thinking about all the stories that Mr Olins told him about the room.Mike starts to loose his mind.He goes over to the bed and notices a door menu.At first it was in french but Mike blinked and it became russian,then italian,then he blinked again and there was no menu.If this happened to me I would be hauling butt out that door.Well Mike tries to call for help but a voice started to yell out numbers in a horrible sound.The room started to melt,the floor sagged,and the wall started to crack.What ever it was the room or a monster was comming to kill Mike.

When Mike and the manager get into the elevator.Mike happened to notice that the floor numbers went from 12 to 14.Olin and Mike got to the 14th floor and Olin told Mike that thats as cl0se as he gets to 1408 unless it's that time of the month.If I was Mike,I would step back onto that elivater because it sounds like the room ain't wurth dieing over.Well Mike heads of to the room and goes in.When Mike was at the door he noticed that it was crooked.Mike droped his keys and then looks at the door to discover it's normal.Once Mike gets settled in thats when the room starts to act up.When I think about what Mike is doing is crazy.I would never go into a room that could kill me.

The begining of this book starts with a man named Mike Enslin and he wants to finish up his ghost story,tale novel or some type of book on tales.Mike heard about the room 1408 and thaught it would be a good place to stay over night.Since the room has a reputation of over 30 peaple dieng in it.After speeking to the manager about room 1408.Mike had a chill shoot up his back.When the manager,Mr Olins brought Mike up to the 13th floor.When the elevater door slid open he said"this is as far as I'll go".Mike steped out,looked back and saw a scared,pale old man shaking like a freezing,wet dog.When I read this part of the story I got the chills rilly bad.The rest is of the story will have to wait.

Room 1408 starts with Mr.King talking about this story and why he wrote it.He says he didn't finish the story but it will get your heart pumping because when Mike Enslin checks into room 1408 his life is almost snached away buy a monsterous force.Before Mike even goes to the room the manager of the Dolphin hotel trys to pleed and bage that Mike shoudn't even think about going near that room.That didn't matter to Mike because he wanted to find out how horrible that room was.
